On TV's talking Heads

We have more than a few people on TV who analyze politics. They sometimes have an opposite number. These guys have to fill an hour of airtime at least once a week. If you HAVE to spout something that much, I expect it will often end up diluted with trivia. The important suffers a constant tyranny of the urgent. I like Andy Rooney because he has time for introspection, and usually makes a telling point.
