Like Total Commander and Google Alerts, I have found a new piece of software that makes my life better. At some future date, gone will be the day when I say "I saw it on the internet somewhere." The software in question is a plug-in for the Firefox web browser called Breadcrumbs. It aggregates web sites as one reads in a cache file, and indexes them for search as you leave each page. It also makes an incentive for an adult to avoid pornography and illegal mp3s. If you view these sites, you may contract a computer virus, and if you have to re-format your hard disk drive because of a virus, you lose the cache.
There is a hidden file it saves; those incompetent to delete should be unable to. Once turned on, it doesn't lose data, and the indexing does not corrupt the data.
