Is Canada having problems enforcing its Constitution?

In An Article protesting the potential of thought crimes, a Canadian Lawyer questions whether or not Canada is subject to Sharia Law. I checked what I believe to be the current Canadian constitution and it shows that Canada in 1982 acknowledged God. As such it is worth noting that Evolution resists Islam as well as Christianity and Judaism. However, Islam is the only one that seeks theocracy. The solution to this is to codify separation of Church and State, at which point open debate of Evolution in a University settings would be unquestionably legal.
