An example of Capitalist Economic Nationalsim

Democratic Nationalism is when the Government actively works to let money talk and vote as it wishes. There should be a certain freedom afforded those who have money to spend, and Democratic Nationalism refuses to use Government to govern the workings of the economy is direct ways. It opposes Economic Nationalism, which most people view as socialist. For example, Socialism turns to public works projects to stimulate the economy, usually out of deficit spending, while Democratic Nationalism might lower interest rates and require business to be involved intrinsically. I haven't studied the definitions is a philosphical sense. That being said, economic nationalism is not necessarily socialist in its policies. For EXAMPLE: Encouraging business to MINE THE CANADIAN SHIELD AND RE_EXPORT, since the Northern passage is opening up due to global warming is encouraging manufacturing jobs to add value and re-export. It is not itself a public works project per se. The main failing of Democratic Nationalism that I fear is that when a PEACE DIVIDEND is not discerned, the war machine is called upon to stimulate the economy by wars that, according to Harvard studies are only beneficial to the economy if they are long, on place of OF PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS, out of deficit spending. This particular entry needs work.
